Awful
This class gave me so much anxiety, the assignments he gave made me so nervous because they required so much work. I would rate him 0/5.
Average
Throughout my whole college experience, I have never had so much work. Taking this class for credit, I though it would have a normal college workload, but I was sadly mistaken. There is at least ten assignments and chapters due each week, which makes it difficult to even have time for other main classes assignments. If you can avoid this course, please do!
Awful
This class was just insane. I have never had to do this much work for an online course in the 4 years that I have been at USF. I do NOT recommend taking this class. There are 5-7 discussion posts due every week and additional assignments that require lots of time and coordination. It is inconsiderate to give this much work to students regularly.
Awful
Professor O'Brien thinks that students don't have anything to do besides his class.
Awful
I do not like Professor O'Brien. He assigns a lot of homework. Every Sunday we have 10-13 assignments and then different assignments scattered throughout the week. The assignments don't teach me anything though, I genuinely do not like this class. It is completely pointless.

I took Visual Literacy under Professor O'Brien's class. Honestly, there's a lot of work for no reason at all. None of the work you do in this class is difficult, but it's just boring and time consuming. If you have to take this class, then take the time for it. If you're thinking about it for an elective, don't do it. Reason is, it's going to keep you busy on camera rentals, new programs, arts and crafts, as well video shoots.
