Teaching a subject best experienced by discussion, Professor Hutton makes difficult for students to confidently ask questions or state their thoughts without fearing belittlement. Has potential to be amazing professor, his lectures are well-spoken, interesting, all this potential is undermined by his condescending attitude.

I had Professor Hutton's online course and found that his grading was based on what his opinion is, not yours, even though the assignments are about how YOU feel about something. His feedback isn't much help and can be condescending. I would never take his class again. Unfortunately he is the only online teacher for this class and I had to do it online.
