Good

Flores is clear and he explains things well. I have taken him in other courses where I have done well. Flores wants students to learn the material. His lab exams are not impossible. Lecture exams are straight from lectures and homework. The course is not hard. Very good professor.

Average

I have already taken Prof. Flores thrice. He's very friendly and open to questions. A great guy, I must say. If you understand the homework, his lecture tests won't be so hard for you. However, the SIMIO tests can be a bit challenging even if you study all the labs.

Poor

I have had Dr. Valdez for 2 classes, and the only thing that helped me to pass was studying past exams. He is a great guy, but I don't really understand his way of teaching. His lectures seem to go on forever and he spends more time than necessary going over proofs when he could be doing more examples to help us understand the info better.
