Teaching Assistant
I served as a teaching assistant for Principles of Organization and Management (MGMT 3050) in which I was responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of 150-200 students enrolled in the course each semester. My accomplishments included providing regular communication with individual students in the course both via email and in-person as well as using written communication skills to review and revise the course syllabus, schedule, and assignment instructions.
Adjunct Instructor
As an adjunct instructor, I teach courses in economics in the Heidelberg University School of Business as well as introductory level math courses. Generally, I manage classes ranging in size from 30-40 students
Student Receptionist Assistant
In this position I served as a clerical assistant for the BGSU Firelands Teaching and Learning Center (TLC), and I assisted in the development and composition of several departmental reports that were presented to both the college administration as well as external parties. I also assisted students with various customer service tasks including requesting tutors, scheduling make-up exams, and answering general questions about the department.
Student Tutor
In this position I worked as a student to assist other students in classes with review and reinforcement of class concepts and ideas. I mainly tutored students in the areas of economics, accounting, and American government.
Adjunct Instructor and Professional Tutor
I served as an adjunct instructor teaching courses in the areas of introductory economics and electronic bookkeeping. In the past I also taught courses in American government and university transition. My general responsibilities included managing class sizes ranging from 15-35 students and selecting both the content covered as well as the assessment tools used to evaluate student performance in each respective course.
As a professional tutor, I worked to assist students on an individual or group basis in reviewing their course materials and reinforcing key concepts from them. In this role I mainly assisted students that were taking coursework in the areas of economics, accounting, and American government.
