You MUST go to the office hours. When I had the class, our grade came from just 3 assignments. He would give them a week before the due date, and was willing to look them over and offer very helpful feedback during office hours. They are at 8 am, but get out of bed and GO. He did get off topic a lot, but class was enjoyable.

Awful

I took Professor Sams' class during summer. We only had the option to take in only, because of the pandemic. This class was the hardest I've ever took and the only class I've ever failed. You only have four graded quizzes and those are very difficult. I don't recommend this class, especially if you have a job that takes up a lot of your time.

Professor Sams was fantastic. He was very responsive to my emails and I was never confused while taking his class online. He's completely self-direct and I feel like I've learned something in his class. What an amazing professor he is.

Professor Sams is amazing. He made everything easy to reach and really wants the best for his students. Also, he's awesome at answering emails and working with you, if you just talk to him ahead of time. What a funny and relaxed professor he is.
