Poor
This was the hardest class that I've taken at Texas State. Professor Proschko is a funny and entertaining guy, but he is very unorganized with his powerpoints and the homework is not like the exams. I studied for a week before the exams, went to SI session and still never passed a single test. The exams are impossible to pass. He doesn't curve exams either, just gives five points of extra credit.
Awesome
Doctor Proschko is a great Tax Accounting professor. He's always willing to help us. Plus, all his lectures were clear and concise. You will learn a lot in his class since his examples given were easy to understand. I recommend that you must take his class.
Awesome
Professor Proschko was fantastic. Somehow, he made accounting fun to learn. He's very helpful too. Just don't sleep in class or it will get confusing. Keep up with it and you will get an A. He's one of my favorite professors at Texas State University.
Good
Prof. Christopher uses TopHat and sometimes he only gives powerpoint slides in class. He uses McGraw Hill and it's really time-consuming, so cramming isn't advisable. Also, we had HW and lesson on McGraw due weekly. He gave little to no extra credit, but he gives a review day before exams.
Awesome
So far, Prof. Christopher is one of the best professors at McCoy! Don't miss class, complete all of your homework, and study! He gives specific examples and is concerned that you comprehend the content. If you take notes during lectures and create a study guide based on his analysis, tests aren't too difficult. 10/10 would recommend!
Good
Accounting isn't easy, but Professor Proschko makes it as simple as possible. Every week, Learnsmarts and homework assignments are due, which can take a long time to complete. To get a good score, you must definitely study and complete all of the assignments.
