I am uniquely trained as both a traditional, scholarly writer, researcher, and educator, and a professional/corporate copywriter, journalist, and editor. I am currently dividing my time between teaching (I teach cinema studies at Binghamton University in Binghamton, New York) and working as a copywriter/copy editor/content strategist in a number of verticals (B2B e-commerce, B2C, manufacturing and industrial technology, FinTech, pharmaceuticals, home furnishings, and digital marketing). Additionally, I am a freelance columnist (I was a regular contributor at SELF) and a former sports reporter/editor (Tampa Tribune, Tampa Bay Times).
