My higher education consists of a B.A. in Physics and an M.S. in Communication Studies. It should come as no surprise that I like to talk about science. My current position involves helping faculty at St. Olaf College obtain funding for research and educational endeavors with an emphasis on Natural Sciences and Mathematics and Social Sciences. As a former assistant speech and debate coach and speech instructor
I sought to give students the opportunity to find their voices and speak about topics about which they are passionate. I was fortunate enough to have the chance to do just that as a member of my college's speech and debate team and I want others to have that same opportunity. Expression is a universal and powerful tool with which too few people have extensive experience. Additionally
the speech and debate community has given me skills
connections
and close friends and I want to make that opportunity open to as many people as possible.\n\nOn a more personal note
I currently reside in Burnsville
MN with my lovely wife Jessica and our disaster of a dog
Austen. I'm an amateur musician dabbling in guitar and drums
though I have played piano since the age of seven. I am a die-hard Minnesota Twins fan and follow the Minnesota Wild religiously. LGT and LGW!
