Good
I don't get why he got bad reviews. I took him over the summer for an online class. Expectations are reasonable and syllabus is clear. Lectures are super informative and exams are open notes! I suggest you watch the lectures and take notes because everything's on it. You'll fail the exams if you don't watch 'em.
Awesome
If you don't pass this class, it's really on you. Prof Christopher gives extra credit and powerpoint slides on all canvas. Quizzes were pretty easy and attendance really matters. If you're taking hin for International Management, pick a good group for projects. Majority of your grade comes from it. It's long and difficult, but it's not impossible. Amazing!
Poor
Professor Flynn will take attendance at the beginning of each class and counted it as a grade until a week before the finals, so everyone dropped two whole letter grades. Also, there were four exams that you needed to study for. Moreover, he's a very strict and very tough grader, especially in group projects. I suggest you choose a good group.
Awful
Picture this, you've been cruising through the semester with a solid B grade, feeling pretty good about yourself. Then, out of the blue, just two weeks before finals, Professor Flynn decides to magically introduce attendance as a major factor, causing everyone's grades to plummet by two whole letter grades. And to add insult to injury, he has the audacity to claim he was clueless about the attendance policy all along. It's downright infuriating. This kind of negligence is unacceptable. He should be held accountable for misleading half the class about their grades. He deserves nothing less than to be shown the door.
Awful
Professor Flynn is by far the most disappointing instructor I've encountered. Frankly, I'm bewildered as to how he's managed to advance in his career. His reliance solely on PowerPoint presentations without thorough explanations of concepts is utterly frustrating. It feels as though he's been plucked from the depths of academia purgatory. His flip-flopping on attendance policies, initially presenting it as graded and then retracting it two weeks before finals, is simply unacceptable. In my opinion, he should be relieved of his teaching duties.
