Professor Nicholson is not very detailed in overall direction. She doesn't provide a specific attention of any kind. She'll wait until the last moment to instruct you on what she likes or dislikes. She will expect you to understand everything, without her explaining anything in class. She gives up in certain circumstances as well.

The secret of theatre is to be curious. I took three classes with Professor Nicholson and all were inspiring. She expects a lot from her students. Strong English and analytical skills are crucial in her class. Her energy gave me the push I needed for theater. However, her mentoring skills don't translate to directing. I suggest you take her class if you're up for the challenge. It could be life-changing.
