HELLO!!
I am a clinical social worker and adjunct professor. I have over eight years experience in social work and over ten in administration, including accounts payables and HR. I have served as an accredited crisis counselor, MH technician, Case Manager, In-Home therapist and an Emergency Services crisis counselor. I have been an ajunct professor for the last four years teaching social work, human services and human behavior via classroom, blended and distance learning courses.
I took a break from direct service for the last several years, but am looking to resume my duties in service as a social worker. I am interested in any opportunities that present themselves and always amenable to trying something new.
I love reading, music, athletics, and am active in my church. My greatest passion in life is my family and serving others. I vehemently subscribe to the adage, "I cannot do good until you do good, and you cannot do good until we all do good." This may sound simple and perhaps a bit naive, but I subscribe to this ideology arduously.
It is very nice to meet you!!!!

Master's Degree
Clinical Social Work
Was afforded the magnanimous opportunity of studying under some of the greatest minds I have ever witnessed. Each had a different methodology (some gentle, some not so much:), but several took me to levels in my thinking that mere study and research cannot. I was graced by the true pioneers of social work who possessed the most incredible minds shadowed only by their wondrous souls of compassion, wisdom, strength, and courage (and certainly much discipline:). Most importantly, they taught me what I needed to know and then how to think for the rest of my journey. I can only aspire to be half as good of a social worker, academic, clinician and most importantly, human being, as to the likes of what Dr. Dancy, Dr. Carrie Waites and Dr. Coleman so patiently, thoroughly, and stellarly modelled for me day in and out. Thank you.
Associate's Degree
Psychology
For me, Jack Nussen is Saint Leo. He met me as a young woman with little formal education, less social grace, but embellished with the most charming attitude conceivable. He patiently advised, guided, and supported me as my mentor, advisor, professor, vicar, and lastly, My Director. He sets the standard so high; no one can ever attempt to come close. The Service and Dedication afforded to a mere stranger, just another new student, far surpass any instruction offered. I unabashedly and uncapricious love and adore him!!! Along with Carol VanDeventer, who also took me under her wing for whatever reason, offered her infinitive instruction, friendship, guidance, support in conjumnction with our shared and intense passion of ALL things of ART!! She is the most amazing and beatiful work of art herself. These two humany shaped who the person I am and will become. They are the God in this world and I am ever so blessed to have them.
