PhD candidate in Rhetorical Studies and graduate instructor at the University of Georgia in the Department of Communication Studies. My research is broadly focused on the rhetoric of health and medicine. I am particularly interested in the ways ideas about health are communicated through popular culture. I earned an MA in Communication and Rhetorical Studies from Syracuse University and an MFA in Creative Writing from Chatham University. Before moving to Syracuse in 2017
I taught at the Community College of Allegheny County in Pittsburgh
