Doctor Tooley is an amazing anthropologist who reads a lot and knows how to correctly balance theories and ethnographies. She will encourage you to submit good papers and will reward you for good work and she is even approachable outside of class. It is also refreshing because she is one of the only anthropologists at Wheaton that slightly leans towards material anthropology.
