I'm a seasoned educator, traveler, and hiker. With ten years of experience in the education industry, my expertise include online teaching, instructional technology, content development, and curriculum design.
As a mathematics content developer, I utilize a unique mix of technical skills and deep subject matter knowledge to develop an engaging and immersive set of online learning tools light years ahead of static content from traditional publishing companies. My previous positions include teaching mathematics at several colleges and universities, leading after-school enrichment programs, tutoring in various STEM courses, and writing strategy guides for standardized tests.
Having traveled to over 60 countries while working at the same time, I bring my natural curiosity, motivation, and discipline to every project I'm involved with. My exposure to many cultures has endowed me the requisite soft skills to effectively work within a team, whose members come from different geographical locations and functional backgrounds.
I received a Master of Arts in Mathematics at San Francisco State University. In the second year of my program, I was awarded a fellowship by the National Science Foundation STEM Fellows in K-12 Education (NSF GK-12) program.

Certificate
Data Mining
Courses taken: Data Mining I (Basic Methods and Techniques), Data Preparation for Data Mining, Data Mining II (Advanced Methods and Applications), Data Mining III, and Introduction to R Programming.
Master of Arts (MA)
Mathematics
My masters thesis involves analyzing existing theorems on self-bijections of affine n-spaces over finite fields induced by the tame automorphism subgroup and extending them to rings more general than finite fields. In particular, I obtained a complete characterization of the evaluation map of the tame subgroup over reduced rings. My project also involved a major computational component involving Sage, an open-source mathematics software based on Python, and concluded that the surjectivity of the evaluation map depends on the characteristic of the ring.
Courses taken: Probability and Statistics, Real Analysis, Modern Algebra, Advanced Linear Algebra, Algebraic Geometry, Numerical Analysis.
Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)
Mathematics
Courses taken: Discrete Structures, Matrix Theory and Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Numerical Computing, Probability, Cryptography, Game Theory, Abstract Algebra, Complex Variables, Optimization, Analysis.
