Professor Janusa definitely cares about all of her students, but she can sometimes get a bit repetitive on the easy stuff and then just skip to the hard stuff. She will move at the pace of the fastest student, not realizing that she's leaving the rest of the class behind. She does want all of us to do well though.
Awesome
If you ever have had problems in math, I highly recommend you take Professor Janusa. She is by far the best math teacher I have ever had, and I'm terrible at math. She does an incredible job at teaching, and truly cares about her students that attend and try to learn. I went to her office hours a few times for assistance, and she even let me make up a few missed homework scores.
Awful
She's very heartless! She was the only teacher I had who didn't ease up throughout the online switch from the beginning of the semester until the covid-19 pandemic. She continued to lecture at an excessively quick pace, expecting us to grasp stuff in a short period of time. Regardless of what is going on in the world, she will continue to fail you. Wouldn't recommend at all!

My class with Professor Janusa was at 8:00 am. So, there's not a lot of participation happening. She gives lots of homework. If you're struggling though, schedule an appointment with her. Because when you ask for help, she will gladly give it. Also, you can get credit for wrong questions on homework if you show her that you know how to solve the problem and found the right answer. Overall, she's a good one.
