Good
You'll pass this class as long as you study her lecture materials without reading the book. Also, go to class because some of what she says cannot be found on ppt, but you'll be tested on it. Book is a great supplement for the class. Also, try to do good on quizzes to boost your grade and watch any supplemental videos!

Doctor Carr explains the material in a way that makes biochemistry seem easy. However, if you plan to take the MCAT, you should consider another professor. She doesn't go into the same details that will come up in the MCAT questions. I assure you that taking a harder professor will make the MCAT easier.
Awesome
I've taken two other Biochemistry professors before. Professor Carr was legally there for the students and the only one who answers all the questions no matter what. During Covid-19 she had a very good transition to the online class and handled all issues with exceptional professionalism. If possible, try to get her class. Hands down the best Biochemistry professor at Texas A&M University.
Awesome
Doctor Carr is truly fantastic. She's very organized and easy to get a hold of. I suggest you record her lectures and listen to them because those can be tricky to understand the first time around. Also, study for your recitation quizzes because those can make the difference between a B and an A. What a really great professor he is.
