Awful
Prof. Galloway makes Intro to Public Health way harder than it has to be. It's a 300-level intro class and she's very specific on the wording of answers and she doesn't even give partial credit. Attendance isn't mandatory, but she gives some extra credit from readings assigned outside of class.
Good
Honestly, I don't understand why the reviews for Professor Galloway were so bad. If you go to class and really listen to her, this course is very easy. I did very good on the first exam, even though I barely studied. She made the transition to online class easy as well, by providing modules, instead of our second exam. Also, the quizzes came straight from the PowerPoint. So, I don't know why some students, didn't get a good grade.
Awful
Professor Galloway is the worst! She is unconcerned about her students' success. She is devoid of empathy and sympathy. For an easy class, she is a difficult grader. You'd think that because all classes are online due to the pandemic, she'd be more understanding, but NO! Dr. Galloway is a TERRIBLE person.
Awful
Professor Galloway doesn't seem to care about her students. Even if you're begging for additional help or information in her office to understand why you got the grade you got, she will look like you're absolutely crazy. She's a harsh grader with no explanation as to why you got the grade you did. Avoid her at all costs, but my advice is you must study everything.
Good
Before enrolling in Professor Galloway's class I was scared because of the reviews. However, I ended up getting an A on the first exam. I took it with Orgo and still got an A in both. This class is not difficult if you actually read the articles, outlining each of them helped me a lot. She also offers EC based on them. The memo was challenging but will review it if you complete it early.
Awful
Professor Galloway is a very tough grader. Her exams are much harder than you think. She's not a professor if you already have many other time-consuming classes.
Awful
Seriously, Professor Galloway is the toughest grader. This class is awful and makes you want to scream. Avoid her class at all costs. I wouldn't recommend taking her class at all.
Poor
She isn't the greatest teacher in this university. Seriously, she's tough when it comes to grading tests and a big writing project that's worth 100 points. The instructions she gives for the assignment aren't clear, so you might need a homework helper to look it over if you're able. If we hadn't moved to online classes, I think I would've had a rough time in this class.
