Awesome
If you want an easy English class, take his hybrid class. He doesn't require much papers. He's more of talking about society and he knows that there are more ways to learn English other than writing papers. Class is definitely required but it is worth attending for because discussions are always meaningful.
Awesome
This is the best college class I have taken. It is the easiest A possible. I took the hybrid version, so you read 2 short stories a week. On Tuesday we would have a discussion during class and Thursdays you type a discussion online. You would have to be crazy not to take this class! Plus, he offers extra credit, but I didn't even need it though.
Awesome
Professor Thorne was by far the best professor I had this semester. He's super laid back and very nice. I took his hybrid class and I highly recommend it. You will do a post discussion every week, then meet in class and talk about the readings. He's really the best. You won't regret it if you take his class.
Good
Doctor Thorne is a relaxed professor. His course was very technology oriented, and he gives you free rein to be as creative as you want. I also met some really interesting characters in this class, so I really recommend it.
Average
Professor Thorne has little to no grading criteria or guidelines for completing assignments on D2L or in the classroom. His assignments never make sense. He once told me my homework was perfect and I still received an 80. I don't think I would have got an A if the head of the department hadn't taken over. If you can work with little to no guidance, go for his class.
Awesome
Professor Thorne is very kind and easy. The class consists of only midterm and final. All vocabulary and very easy. The discussions are quite easy as well. It only takes a little time for him to reply. I suggest you take his class.
Awesome
Professor Thorne is the nicest man ever. You could tell he loves his job. This is a simple class from which you can actually learn.
