Make sure you show up to class even though attendance is not mandatory. The only thing that I did not like about her class were the pop quizzes. She is very approachable and when she teaches the more difficult concepts, she tries to explain everything in ways to help us remember them easier. Professor McGowan is an Excellent Instructor.
