Greater Philadelphia Area
My interest is in the social and cultural history of high school girls' sport. I have a special interest in city and suburban differences in the US. The bulk of my research has been in the greater Philadelphia region, however I have researched a variety of cities, large and small, from Miami to San Francisco. High school yearbooks are my primary source of choice. They are a trove of information about programming, changes to those programs and what schoolgirls sometimes had to say about it all.
