I have a background as a magazine editor and a freelance writer. I am currently finishing up work as a researcher on a grant studying ways to overcome barriers to recruitment for clinical trials and teaching at the College of Charleston as a visiting professor. I completed my Ph.D. in Mass Communications
with a research emphasis on health and science communication
in May of 2013.\nMy goal is to obtain a position on faculty at a University where I can continue to do research and teach. \nAlternatively
I would like an industry
government or nonprofit position in which I could do health and science communication research and practice.
