You will pass this class if you put in the effort; however, it is up to you to monitor your grades and determine if you are failing; if you delay until it is too late, you will be held responsible. She provided a lot of material, but she is not interested in taking online classes.

Professor Carol is amazing! She sets clear objectives for the class and provides wonderful feedback. I attended an online class with her, and despite the lack of face-to-face interaction, you can tell she is truly concerned about her students' understanding of the content. 10/10 would reco!

This online class was difficult to take, and if you are struggling, she will not help you as much as she would want you to go to a tutor. She'd probably do better in a classroom than on the internet. If you enjoy a challenge, this is the class for you. If you enjoy being annoyed, this is for you. Wouldn't recommend.

Professor Lipszyc gives prompt and specific feedback. I took ENG 305 and ENG 374 online in the same semester and they were beautifully scaffolded, incredibly organized, and favored all learning styles. If you don't have the resources for the question, you can send her an email right away. So, take advantage of her responsiveness; it's nonpareil.

Doctor Lipszyc is organized and very clear about his expectations. She'll expect clean work. And if you're looking for something easy, well this is not the class. On the other hand, you'll leave her class a better writer. It will challenge and expand your knowledge. Also, she will provide the most detailed feedback of any instructor I have attended. In addition, she truly cares about her students.

I took ENG297, 305, and 375 under Doctor Lipszyc. All her classes are very organized. She gives you enough time to complete her assignments too. Also, she's a very fast grader and responds quickly to her emails, which I do appreciate. You'll learn a lot about teaching methods and her passion for her craft shows. Overall, she's one of my favorite professors.

Professor Lipszyc needs to change the way she's grading students. She grades on a range of "mostly separate knowing" to "mostly connected knowing" instead of using numbers or letters. And when you ask for help, she directs you to another tutor.
