  During my tenure as Society of Flight Test Engineers Antelope Valley Chapter Vice President

  I developed the STERO Grant as a program for community outreach and SFTE STEM initiatives. Middle school teachers in the Palmdale/Lancaster

  CA area were invited to submit proposals to obtain funding for a STEM related project with their students. The AV Chapter provided funding for 3 projects as well as subject matter expertise for the projects as needed. This project was well received by the SFTE International Board of Directors

  and subsequently all SFTE chapters were urged to follow suit with similar programs of their own.
