If you're able to, take any class that he teaches. He's very good at it. Participation is necessary but he cares enough to learn all of the names before the first day. There's a lot of textbook work but it isn't for a grade. Kind and knowledgeable guy, I wish I could have taken him for 102.

Awful

I am currently taking Professor Gutke during the pandemic. He has done everything he can to make his class more difficult during this time. He has questioned everything I've said about my personal struggles during this time. He even asked me for proof of what I am dealing with. Moreover, he didn't give us information about the final exam until the day before the opening.
