I have been active in the theatre for more than fifty years and have staged more than 150 dramatic productions including: All My Sons, The Hostage, How I Learned To Drive, On The Verge, A Streetcar Named Desire, Painting Landscapes and Sylvia. I began my teaching career at the University of Northern Colorado, Little Theatre of the Rockies. I joined the Fresno City College Theatre Arts and Dance Department in 1970 where I taught until retiring in 2003. In 1990, 1997 and 2003 I taught in the State Center Community College District’s International Education Semester in England program. Between 1994 and 2002 I taught drama for the London International Theatre Educational Services (L.I.T.E.S.) Drama Summer School at Rossa College and Dublin City University in Dublin, Ireland. I regularly adjudicated plays for the American College Theatre Festival, Region VIII and have contributed to and reviewed a number of textbooks on acting, including Robert Cohen's Acting One. I am proud to have former students teaching in college and university theatre programs and working in television, motion pictures and theatre throughout the United States, as well as England and Ireland. At present, I continue to teach Appreciation of Theatre and Interpersonal Communication, adjudicate productions for the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Region VIII. In the past few years I've performed in Marisol and The Importance of Being Earnest, as well as directed The Mercy Seat and a readers' theatre production of Medea.

Raised funds annually for the Theatre Arts, Art, Dance and Music Departments.
