Professor Shafer is outstanding! Just be sure not to miss class on speech days since she will lower your grade if you do. Overall though she is very caring and really wants the best for her students.

For a communications instructor, Professor Shafer doesn't practice what she preaches. She likes to make her way and will try to convince you that, getting discussions with her is part of the curriculum. Don't tell her anything about your personal life. If you her off, she'll use it against you. if you can avoid taking her, then do it. It will save you from the drama.
