Developed and directed a high school research program which placed students with area academic and industrial organizations to conduct undergraduate level research.
Mentored Ryan Harrison to the rank of 5th place in the 2005 Intel Science Talent Search (the first finalist from Baltimore City Schools in 47 years). This met the founding goal of the Ingenuity Project, to develop a research program with the specific aim of achieving finalist status in the Intel Science Talent Search.
Additional program successes included Myers Davis achieving the rank of 7th place in the 2006 Intel Science Talent Search and national recognition for the program’s students from the Siemens Westinghouse Competition, the National Junior Science and Humanities Symposium, the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair, and the Young Naturalist Competition.
