I would avoid taking a class with him if possible. You end up teaching yourself the materials since he is terrible at explaining things. The only grades came from weekly quizzes which were on canvas. Everybody was doing bad in his class even when they would be trying. The only good thing was that he curved grades.

Professor Marshall's class was in-class and online because of Covid-19. I can say that every quiz was difficult to understand and had inconsistent terminology even before the pandemic. Only reviews work on prior tests. He doesn't even prepare students for the new test. Honestly, I had to teach myself out of the textbook every week for quizzes which is 100% of your grade.
