He's pretty kind, but his class is so boring that everyone seems to be constantly on their phones. You do not need to attend class to pass because he does not grade work; the only days you must attend are test days. You'll be fine as long as you show up for those and submit a 9-page essay at the end of the semester. 9 pages may appear to be a lot, but it actually isn't.
