Awful
The way this class is set up is just terrible. Half of the class is assignments, the other half is the project. Once he grades the first assignment, you won't get any feedback for a month for the rest of the assignments. He also does not teach anything relevant to the assignments or project, which is why half of the class doesn't show up.
Awful
Prof. Dixon gets the entire grade from one final assignment which I find really unfair. He always comes to class unprepared. Actually, he copies his code offline which fails during lectures. It is hard to keep track of his lectures because of the constant copy and pasting. He also provides unclear instructions for project.
Average
Professor Dixon is one of the most interesting and smartest persons I have met, unfortunately though this didn't translate into being a good teacher. He gets easily sidetracked during his lectures, the projects are really difficult, and he will casually mention extremely important information during lecture and then never put it in writing or address it again.
