    Head Varsity Men's Lacrosse

    CUA men’s lacrosse has been to the top of the mountain in 2015 and 2016, with the Cardinals winning the Landmark Conference Championship back to back, and gaining bids to the NCAA Tournament in consecutive years. Since 1998, has been a mission to establish the Cardinals men’s lacrosse program as a highly competitive team within NCAA Division III and the Landmark Conference. The system proved true by the program ascending to the top of the league and being placed among the nation's top teams. The team has been successful behind multiple All American, Scholar All American, All Landmark Conference, and All Academic Landmark selections. The Cardinals continue to remember and honor Junior Attackman and All American selection Brendan Englert, who passed away in an accident in April, 2013. The philosophy encompasses a positive balance between academics and athletics to allow for success both on the field and in the classroom. The primary goal of the entire lacrosse coaching staff is to prepare each student-athlete for life after college, as well as to recognize the contributions that each individual brings to the program. After graduating in 1995, he earned joint law and master’s degrees from Catholic University. Also coaches with local and national all-star teams, and he directs various group’s character development programs and is often invited to be a guest speaker for various schools and club programs. Also is the director of CUA’s Capitol Lacrosse Camp, which takes place during the summer months. And is a co-founder of the Adaptive Lacrosse Clinics held at Walter Reed Medical Center for recovering wounded soldiers. And, Singer works with the Wounded Warrior Project Lacrosse Program which focuses on character development for young lacrosse players, while raising awareness for wounded warriors who served this country. In addition, he served on the NCAA Division III All-American Committee, the NCAA Regional Advisory Committee, and the IMCLA Division III Rules Committee.
