Professor O'Meara runs her classroom based off of fear. You must participate in class and do the work. She will react harshly over simple things. There was also an excessive demand on length and number of assignments. On a positive side, she's passionate and a nice person. She would just benefit from learning new ways to more positively manage the classroom. Also, workload feels like a Junior or Senior level class.

Prof. O'Meare is self-righteous about really dumb stuff occasionally. She also gets extremely frustrated if the class doesn't participate the way she was expecting them to. The goal of the class was to expose students to college writing, but the entire class felt like a senior year lesson in busy work.

She's awesome, very helpful and truly cared about her students' success. She responded to email quickly and was always ready to help. If given the chance, I'd totally want to be in one of her classes again.
