Prof. Tuesink seems to care about his students and really wants them to understand and pass this class. However, I didn't like his lectures. He is clearly smart but he always teaches in a way that is hard to understand. He doesn't do a good job trying to get his point across. You will really have to do lots of practice on your own.

Professor Tuesink is nice enough. But he clearly has no idea what he's doing. He's unorganized. He doesn't have respect for your own schedules or his. He faked it until he made it, I think. Good for him. Overall, he's a bad teacher.

As someone who always got a 95 and above in Calculus I and Calculus II, this is my first B in Calculus. Professor Tuesink had no grip on the material. He was very disorganized with his lectures. The last test and final exams were to take home due to the pandemic. They were evaluated very hard and he is not clear in his evaluation criteria.

This was Professor Tuesink's first-semester teaching Calculus 3. Unfortunately, he had absolutely no idea what he was doing. He even admitted to us that most times, he didn't plan his lectures before coming to class. He usually showed up late and made us stay late, clearly not respecting our time. And honestly, I learned most of this course from YouTube videos.

At first, I didn't think he was a good teacher. But honestly, he's hilarious and can help you succeed if you make sure to attend his class, don't even think about skipping. One cool thing he does is giving extra credit, often when a lot of students decide not to come, which boosts your grade.
