Good
I took Catholic Theology with Prof. Traska and he was really funny. His lectures were funny and he's very candid, but he can be quite cocky at times. As long as you do the journals and show up in class, this class will be easy for you, and if you do, he also cares about you getting a good grade. Overall, Prof. Traska is an amazing professor.
Good
Prof. Brian clearly knows his stuff. His class is very open to all religions. This isn't your average catholic theology class which is actually good if you aren't catholic. The books are quick to read, participation is required for each period of the class, I found his tests a little difficult, but got 95's on all the papers. He's an amazing prof overall tho!
Awesome
Prof. Brian made an 8 am class really fun! He was very open-minded as well. This isn't your typical Catholic class because you immerse yourself in much more relevant topics in relation to religion. He really appreciates it when students contribute in class. Go out of your way to learn for his quizzes and papers and you should do well.
Awesome
Prof. Traska is honestly the best prof at USD! Really can't recommend him enough. It was a struggle to get an A because of how he grades us, but it's doable. He's pretty inspiring and funny! We had graded participation, but discussions are actually good, so it was really easy to participate. Go and take this prof! You won't regret it!
Awesome
I love Professor Traska. He cares and is very respectful. Even if you're not Catholic, the course is accessible. Also, he's always looking for a different perspective. However, be prepared to read, his lectures depend on reading in advance. And if you don't agree with the material, just write something perceptive Overall, he's a legend that should be cherished.
Awful
Professor Traska grades like a competition. Don't take his class unless you're an intellectual thinker. And even then, pray that he thinks you are smart. Otherwise, you'll end with a D or F.
