    During my time at the Resort

    I had a wide range of roles: new hire trainer

    floating Lead

    and core Lead. I was responsible for building the Core Team at various locations

    including Flik’s Fun Fair

    Disney Animation/Disney Jr.

    and The Tower of Terror (r.i.p.). As both a trainer and a lead

    I facilitated the development of new trainers and leads in the area; kept each lead and trainer consistent with business practices. As a Core Lead

    acted as the point of contact for the management team and other lines of business throughout the Resort; developed and maintained an extensive network of contacts through relevant LOBs to streamline communication and improve results. And

    because I am passionate about mentoring and team-building

    I was also occasionally involved in mentoring workshops

    including “Tongue Fu” and the “True Colors” personality test.

    As the Program Coordinator

    I designed and deployed marketing and recruitment program to meet program solvency. I facilitated the application process and was the point of contact for student interested and those enrolled in the program. Before the summer course began each year

    I coordinated both travel expenses and educational expenses

    including budget reports and reimbursement processes. Once the course began

    I also acted as advisor and analyst for the class

    to help the instructors assemble teams that worked together well and leveraged students’ strengths.

    During my time as a professor with the First Year Writing program at Biola

    I was given free reign to design my syllabi and courses to support the program learning outcomes. I also served on the Biola assessment team for six years

    which then worked to develop full-loop action plans to improve overall productivity. I also frequently attended workshops that focused on improving Core education and providing equitable access for diverse student populations

    IRIS was an online education program that was started to try and close the gap on Biola's online G.E. offerings. While I started out at the Coordinator for Online Teaching and Assessment

    I was eventually promoted to Operations Manager for IRIS; in this role

    I acted as the primary liaison between our program and all the Universityt stakeholders. I also functioned as the Instructional Designer and coordinator for all online adjuncts

    as well as designing the baseline expectations for IRIS Online Courses. As the Ops Manager

    I was responsible for the usual tasks that fall to such a role: budgeting and planning

    staff development

    conversations with upper University professionals

    etc.
