Grades only come from tests given every other week. He also gives homework everyday and counts as 5 bonus points on the test. Textbook isn't mandatory. I would recommend getting the handouts with all the lessons, homework with solutions, and test reviews instead. This is pretty helpful. You will be fine as long as you do all the homework and study for the tests.

Awful

I failed Calculus 2 so I decided to retake it over the summer at another college. And it's a big mistake. I was pretty good at it, but a bad tester. I tried using the methods originally taught on Professor Ambrose's homework and succeeded without problems. However, I still failed the first exam. He will expect you to use only his formulas. Good luck in trying to pass his class.
