Good
I got her for both 1151 and 1152 and I totally loved her. Lectures consist of pics/diagrams and are void of ppt. She goes over the study guides she provide which ends up being helpful for SAs but not so much for MCs. She requires us to go to lab and test days. She usually leaves early. She heavily curved 1151 exams, 1152 not so much. She also gives plenty of extra credit opportunities.
Awesome
Prof. Kirkpatrick is a nice lady and an easy grader. She doesn't give homework at all, just one paper. Biology is honestly challenging but she made it easy for us. I would recommend taking her.
Poor
Prof. Beth has a very old teaching style. You won't have any notes to follow along with. She also goes very fast and she isn't clear with topics. What's great about her is that she doesn't give homework, but almost all of the topics will have to be self taught. She's knowledgeable in her subject but she doesn't know how to teach at all.
Good
Professor Kirkpatrick was very caring and passionate. In the case of COVID-19, she made it very doable for us despite not being able to do lab exercises. Just memorize her slides and you'll get an A. She'll offer lots of extra credits too. Her negative side was, she's not good at lecturing. Her lab exercises are tough, from my understanding an average grade was like 50% with no curve. It almost wrecked my grade.
