I am a licensed, clinical psychologist (State of California) and professor of psychology at Santa Monica College and Long Beach State. I teach primarily undergraduate courses, including Introductory Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Developmental Psychopathology, Health Psychology, Child & Adolescent Development, Psychology of Contemporary Social Issues, and Personality Theory. My clinical practice focuses on depressive disorders, as well as trauma & stress-related disorders. Additionally, I volunteer for the organization Soles4Souls by conducting local shoe drives and traveling overseas to help with the distribution of shoes (Previous Trips: Costa Rica, Jamaica, Tanzania, Ecuador). I am interested in pursuing certification as a crisis and trauma intervention specialist and traveling to locations in and outside of the U.S. and serving as an expert witness in court cases involving trauma & stress-related disorders. Previous work experience includes accounting (B.S., Accountancy), tax specialization, accounting systems set-up, and I.T. Systems management (Whole Foods Makret).
