There are only two tests (each covering half of the textbook). There is also plenty of required readings and podcasts. Test questions are based on the research papers and podcasts. He is very subjective the class is impossible to study well for because he was so random and so vague. I don't know how he expects you to remember random things from halfway through the semester?
