Professor Quartey gives barely any examples of applications of these definitions. Lectures are her reciting the definitions. Test questions are worded weirdly. If you don't write exactly the way her definition was on her PowerPoint she takes off points. I was hoping she would test our understanding of the topic but it was just testing our memorization skills.
Awful
Professor Quartey is not understanding. She does not seem to help her students pass. She claims that her exams consisted of five questions, but there are three to four questions in each numbered question. Yes, the exams are open-ended, but if you don't memorize your lecture word for word, you won't pass. It's almost as if she is hell-bent on seeing us fail.

Professor Quartey expects you to know everything, even if you are new to the class. She's very mean when it comes to asking you questions via email. Also, she provides very bad directions for homework and exams. She grades unfairly as well.
Awful
I suggest you avoid her class. She's the most terrible instructor I've encountered here. She never provides clear instructions for assignments. She constantly changes her mind and has inconsistent expectations every day. Figuring out her assignments is like trying to solve a tricky puzzle unless you're an expert at understanding hidden meanings. Do yourself a favor and don't take this class.
