Professor Shroff is an extremely insightful and intelligent person, using her status to make sure students become more informed and empathetic individuals. The textbook is required but it is not online. As long as you do the papers and readings early the class is easy to manage. I came into the class not really knowing what to expect but I am happy to have taken it.
