Awesome
Nice guy who cares about students. He's difficult to talk to outside of class though. Memorizing the slides makes everything a breeze, and make sure to read the articles. He wants his students to succeed, and he's very understanding.
Good
If you need an easy SC elective, take Prof. Smedberg. All exams come straight from the powerpoint. Familiarize yourself with the acronyms. He gives out random SC articles for "blocking and tackling" quizzes, so make sure you read it. Overall, it wasn't bad at all but he tends to ramble. If I had another chance, I would take him again.
