I took the class of Professor O'Neill a few times already. As long as you show interest in class as well as in screenwriting, then you will do well. Just do the homework, pay attention in class and follow the proper writing format. I still got an A even if I was never been able to create a great short or long screenplay.

Professor O'Neill has a style and method of guidance with friendly attitude. She created an environment of enthusiasm for learning, appreciation for growing and room for making mistakes along the way. She always came to class with a smile on her face and kind words for all of her students. Because of this, the learning was much more fun with curiosity.

Prof. O'Neil was super amazing when I took her for FTVE-200. I don't understand why she got so many terrible reviews. She's honestly such a genuine person! Super loved everything about her class!

I took beginning and intermediate screenwriting class with Prof. O'Neil and I decided not to take the advanced because they're all the same class. She'll only have you do the same thing as the beginner students. Discussing about movies is fun, but she gives no real feedback. If you want to improve your writing, I suggest you just write on your own because she simply grades on completion.

Despite the fact that she wasn't a great lecturer, she is one of my favourites. If you take the time to get to know her, she'll write you glowing letters of recommendation and excellent reviews on your scripts when you transfer. Take her class if you're interested in screenwriting or just learning about movies in general.

The class is fairly easy. You'll have a couple of Zoom meetings with a group to read screenplays. For the week, you can actually do the tasks in an hour or two. Bonnie is friendly and sweet, and she gives good feedback during Zoom sessions, but I never received a lot of feedback outside of that. Expectations are clear, and there are interesting articles to read. A simple A.

Professor O'Neill's class was very bad that it made me change my major. She has a background in broadcasting, but rather than teaching, she was constantly showing Youtube videos. Also, she came to class late and unprepared. We only did about five assignments. Most of the exams were difficult due to her unique dialect and poor writing skills. What a horrible class it is.
