If you struggle with English like myself, I highly recommend her. Laughton cares for all of her students, and especially for those who speak another language. She grades you by the quality of work you put in, and she pushes you to try. She does look at grammar, however she gives you many tries to revise it with her before the final draft.

Prof. Laughton is one of the best English profs I've ever taken! She's very warm and caring. She also has an approachable teaching style. Textbook made reading and writing engaging and relevant. She likes to share personal anecdotes. Amazing prof!
