Awful
You'll be chillin' in this class if you have a PhD in organic chemistry.
Good
I first took Organic Chemistry with Doctor Catino in person and I got a C minus. I'm now retaking the course online with him and things are much easier. The lectures and quizzes are clear and easy to understand. I would not recommend the online format for the first timers who will have this course, due to it's fast pacing. However, this is highly recommended for those on retake.
Good
I took Prof. Catino's online class and he also posts lectures that you have to watch at your own pace. His lectures are very organized and he talks about every topic in the chapters that he gives. It was a very fast-paced class since I took it during summer, but he was very willing to answer questions. I suggest you do all the practice questions and read the chapter he gives.
Poor
I love Professor Catino. His lectures were fun. However, he has unrealistic expectations and he takes mediocre scores out of students. His lectures hardly reflect the problem set and those hardly reflect tests. So the test averages are usually in the high 60s and low 70s, which he's usually very pleased about. Of his three sections with only 103 students on nine of it passed.
