I have been teaching at the University of Toronto, since 1996, first courses on the social and environmental impacts of technology in the faculty of applied sciences and engineering, and since 2003 in the department of Political science.
In Political Science I have taught the following courses:
-Politics in a Global World
-Introduction to International Relations
-Environmental Security and Conflict
-U.S. Foreign Policy
-Managing International Military Conflict
-Comparative Foreign Policy
I have published articles on topics including: Sustainability Technology and Development; Terrorism, Security and Democracy; Foreign Lobbying in U.S. Politics
I have also been active in the Toronto Music scene as a Musician (guitar, saz, banjo, dobro etc.), performing with groups including:The Woodchoppers Association (see woodchoppers.com); Shady Tree; Toronto Improvisers Orchestra; Built to Suit and many others
