Professor Fink is the coolest teacher I've ever had and this is my last year! She is young and personable which helped a lot when explaining the subject. Love her because she is smart and a rock star. She was able to put what we were learning in perspective by using relatable examples since she is so close to our age.

Assigned to a faculty member, I am responsible for collection, organization and interpretation of literature related to PR and employee engagement. Additional responsibilities may include data collection and analysis, to aid in the completion of a publishable research paper.
Graduate Teaching Assistant
For one semester, I taught a class on Research and Consumer Insights, which focuses on the planning, execution and application of research during the strategic communication process. The purpose of this class is to introduce sound and effective social scientific methods commonly used by industry practitioners to analyze and segment audiences, inform strategic planning and message development, as well as evaluate strategic communication plans and campaigns. Additionally, this class emphasizes effectively analyzing and presenting research findings, as well as to making insightful conclusions and recommendations based on those findings. I also taught a class on Advertising Media Planning and Buying; the lecture focuses on usage and benefits of different mediums, as well as learning how to efficiently plan and buy media. The purpose of this class is to prepare students to enter the media planning and buying workforce, as well as to confidently complete a full media plan.

Marketing Intern
Responsibilities included maintaing Facebook and Twitter, connecting with community leaders about partnerships, and planning marketing events. While I was with Soca, I was able to strategize with a handful of community leaders in two different store markets to coordinate donations and partnerships. Likewise, I was able to use my knowledge of social media to help prepare a new social media plan, including Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.
