  to spending clinical days with the Diabetes Educator for both adult and gestational diabetcs. Additionally

  they also rotated to the Endoscopy suite to observe GI procedures. They also spent days in clinical as Team Leader. All days spent off the unit or as team leader were followed by a written report of the experience

  as well as an oral presentation of the experience. Post conference was a lively mix of discussion and/or role playing. I remain in contact as a mentor to several of these students to this day.
