Awful
Doesn't provide answers to student questions, as well as never emphasizing necessary material. For a huge microphone he doesn't use his microphone nearly enough. Difficult to get through a class.
Awful
Super boring teacher with no idea of how to teach the class. As long as you do the module you'll be fine for the entirety of the class.
Average
Under Professor O'Connor's class, you make good use of the modules, assignments, and quizzes to build, as well as to maintain your knowledge. Don't beat yourself up too much if you do worse on them than you expected. Just make sure that you learn from your mistakes on the exams, which make up most of the grade.
Awful
I took Professor O'Connor's class in six weeks since I didn't have any professor to choose from. But dear God, I wish I did not. She gives so much work, that you have little time to learn and let alone do anything for other classes. She expects you to study at least 22 hours per week for her class, when the lectures are already two hours long. She will not give any curves too. Don't take her class.
Poor
Dr. OConnor is a rude professor who can generate numbers out of nowhere in class and expects you to figure out where they came from. If the class average on exams is less than 70%, it is blamed on the class. Would recommend taking other profs.
Awful
Do not take her if you aren't so skilled with chem. She doesn't explain herself, rushes through her notes, and avoids answering questions. Tests have roughly 20 questions, so if you miss a handful, you'll automatically get a C.
Awesome
Doctor O'Connor has been nothing short of spectacular during her college career. She was nice, helpful, and really personable in my experience. I understand the mixed reviews though; after all, everyone's experiences are different. I'd highly recommend you to take REEL Lab with her, since her true, laid-back, and friendly demeanor is more apparent outside of the classroom situation.
Awful
Outside of class, she rushes through her notes and fails to adequately explain her own material. When I asked her how to solve a specific problem, she just gave me a video. (It didn't help because her videos omitted half of the crucial arithmetic required to get at the answer.) Finally, unless you want to be stressed for 16 weeks, do not take.
Awful
She says things like we need to work together since times are tough. However, she then makes the class a hundred times harder and more complicated. During distance learning, she complains that she doesn't have time for us. She made us feel like we are wasting her time, when in fact she is just complicating things and confusing all of us. She's rude too.
Good
I think that a lot of students dislike Dr. O'Connor because she treats them like adults. Also, I think she's a very knowledgeable professor who has high expectations for her students. It is a wake-up call for some. However, if you're willing to study hard and reach out for help like having a tutor or visiting her during office hours, you will not struggle in her class.
Awful
Professor O'Connor rushed through the notes to confuse and bewilder you about what she had just said or written. Her exams are only 20 questions. And if you miss only a few questions, your grade will be lost. She has a lot of mandatory assignments that don't help, they just waste time. I suggest you only take this course if you want to put yourself under a lot of pressure.
