Prof. Evins is an amazing teacher. I had her for two classes and would honestly want a third if I could. She's very organized and she makes her expectations clear. It's easy to stay motivated for class because lectures and essay prompts are very engaging. You're guaranteed to pass if you keep up with attendance. She gives lots of extra credit opportunities also.

Super enjoyed English 5 with Prof. Evins!!!! She was very helpful during her office hours! She gave clear guidelines and good feedback so we can further improve!!! If you never miss any of her classes, you won't have to take the final!!!

Average

Professor Evins' class has lots of reading, with weekly quizzes. Your next essay will be assigned the day you submit the one. And if you miss a day, you have to write an extra essay which was her final. Don't expect to get a high grade, if you're not willing to put in the effort. Overall, this was the hardest classes I've taken, but, I learn a lot, if that's what you value over a good grade.

Poor

She's a sweet lady, but don't anticipate an easy A from her. Don't try her because she has high expectations and isn't flexible with deadlines. Every week, expect a reading quiz and annotation checks (two or more comments per page read), which she takes quite seriously for some reason. You will undoubtedly learn a great deal, but you will be required to put out much effort.
